It's the turn of the 20th century, and all of New York City is excited because widowed but brassy Dolly Gallagher Levi is in town. Dolly makes a living through what she calls "meddling" – matchmaking and numerous sidelines, including dance instruction and mandolin lessons! “Hello, Dolly!” was first produced on Broadway in 1964, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical. The show has become one of the most enduring musical theatre hits, enjoying three Broadway revivals and international success. It was also made into a 1969 film that was nominated for seven Academy Awards! Now, returning to the Chelsea Area Players repertoire since 1976 comes this all-time classic musical!
